Board of Directors

Cornelis F. Wit

Mr. Wit has been a member of the Board of Directors since November 1999 and CEO and President since June of 2002. Mr. Wit was interim CEO during June and July 2002. He was the President of Corporate Finance at Noesis Capital Corp, Boca Raton, Florida, a NASD member firm, from March 1995 until May 2002. Prior to 1994 Mr. Wit was the CEO for DMV, USA, the American subsidiary of Campina Melkunie, a Dutch multi-billion dollar food and pharmaceutical ingredients company. He also served as Vice President International Operations for Duphar, a pharmaceutical company in Holland. Mr. Wit graduated from Nyenrode, a business university in Holland.

Randall G. Smith

Mr. Smith (Chairman) has been an executive officer and member of the Board of Directors since 1997. He served as President and Chief Technology Officer from May 1997 until August 2000 and thereafter as Chairman and Chief Technology Officer. From December 1995 to May 1997, he was Director of Operations for Global Communications Group. Mr. Smith received a B.S. from Purdue University.

Guus van Kesteren

Mr. van Kesteren has been a member of our Board of Directors since November 1999. Since 1996 Mr. van Kesteren has been a consultant to Noesis Capital Corp., a NASD member firm. Prior thereto, he was employed from 1972 until 1996 by Johnson & Johnson in various capacities, holding the position of Vice President International from 1985 until 1996 with responsibility for the Australasian subsidiaries. Mr. van Kesteren graduated from Nyenrode, a business university in Holland.

Dr. Jonathan Seltzer

Dr. Seltzer is President of Applied Clinical Intelligence, LLC. which offers highly efficient risk reduction solutions for clinical research such as the iCommittees™ Solution, expertise for Data Monitoring Committees (DSMBs) and EACs. Prior to his current role, Dr. Seltzer served as Vice President for Premier Research Worldwide as well as Deputy Director of the Office of Health Policy at Thomas Jefferson University. Currently he serves as President and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Investigators, and on their behalf, he serves on the Steering Committee of the Clinical Trial Transformation Initiative. Additionally, he is Director of Clinical Research at the Main Line Health Heart Center. Dr. Seltzer received board-certification in both cardiology and internal medicine. He holds a B.A. from Haverford College, an M.B.A. and M.A. from the University of Michigan, and an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. He received postgraduate medical training at the universities of Michigan, Maryland and Chicago. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Stephen E. Johnson,

President & Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Johnson has served as President & Chief Operating Officer since June 2010 and is responsible for providing effective leadership, direction in planning, oversight of all business development and operational aspects, and managing and directing all Corporation activities. Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Business Development since April 2008, managing the delivery and execution of all operational activities including sales, marketing, professional services and clinical services and support. Mr. Johnson joined OmniComm as Senior Vice President of Business Development in September 2006 and was initially responsible for global sales & marketing and client services & support. Prior to joining OmniComm Systems, Inc., he spent 7 years managing business development for the Oracle Clinical Applications group for the East Coast. He has over 16 years of industry experience specific to clinical trials and electronic data capture (EDC), having held various positions of increasing responsibility for Oracle, PHT Corp., Clinical Data Solution and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Johnson received his B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts.

Randall G. Smith,

Chairman, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Smith has been an executive officer and member of the Board of Directors since 1997. He served as President and Chief Technology Officer from May 1997 until August 2000 and thereafter as Chairman and Chief Technology Officer. From December 1995 to May 1997, he was Director of Operations for Global Communications Group. Mr. Smith received a B.S. from Purdue University.

Thomas E. Vickers,

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Vickers joined OmniComm in October 2011 as the Vice President of Finance. In October 2012 he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining OmniComm, Mr. Vickers was with Ocwen Financial Corporation, a publicly traded diversified financial services holding company, where he served in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Director, Servicing Operations. Previously Mr. Vickers was Vice President, Operations for S&J and Vice President, Financial Operations for Precision Response Corporation. Mr. Vickers has undergraduate degrees in Finance and Accounting and a Master of Taxation from Florida Atlantic University, an MBA from the University of Miami and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder.

Ken Light,

Executive Vice President Operations

Ken Light is the Executive Vice President of Operations and Professional Services at OmniComm. Mr. Light is responsible for leading OmniComm’s project delivery teams including project management, training, study development, and consulting. Prior to joining OmniComm, Mr. Light was a Solutions Partner at BusinessEdge Solutions, Inc. where he oversaw the delivery of technology, strategy and process improvement services for pharmaceutical and life sciences companies seeking to accelerate clinical development. Prior to that he was Practice Director, Life Sciences Consulting for Oracle Corporation where he oversaw clinical software implementation activities for major pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations. Before joining Oracle, Ken was Practice Director, Clinical Technology for First Consulting Group where he established Centers of Excellence focused on clinical trial and adverse events IT solutions. Mr. Light received a B.S. from SUNY Binghamton and an M.S., Computer Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and has delivered a multitude of educational industry presentations at meetings such as the DIA, EDC and Beyond, ACRP and the eClinical Forum.

Dr. Yvonne Rollinger,

Managing Director, OmniComm Europe GmbH

Dr. Rollinger is Managing Director of OmniComm Europe, located in Bonn, Germany. Dr. Rollinger is overseeing all business activities of this entity. She also serves as Director Operations, leading the European group of data manager and project managers. Before joining OmniComm Dr. Rollinger was Senior Consultant and Director Clinical Services at DATATRAK, focusing on EDC change management and workflow consulting for clients, as well as leading the operational team at DATATRAK. Prior to that position Dr. Rollinger served as Project Manager, CRA and sales representative at Medifacts International Medical Consultants, Padcom Clinical Research, Dolorgiet Pharmaceuticals and Spitzner Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Rollinger received a PhD from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn in Biology and Biochemistry. She has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on clinical trial management, both paper and electronic.

Keith L. Howells,

Senior Vice President, Development

Mr. Howells joined OmniComm in January 2011, with responsibility for the development and forward direction of the company’s products. Mr. Howells has over 20 years of experience in building and implementing clinical research applications, including 5 years as head of development for Oracle’s pharmaceutical application suite and 5 years as head of development for Medidata Solutions. This encompasses applications for clinical data management, EDC, medical dictionary coding, safety, trial planning and trial budgeting. Mr. Howells has a degree in physics from Oxford University, England.
